"Tags" are terms that you associate with your video that describe the content. These are used by search engines, SciVee keyword searches, and when suggesting related video content on SciVee. The better your tags, the more success other people will have in finding your video.

If you upload an open access paper that is indexed in PubMed Central, we automatically extract the MeSH terms that have been already assigned to the paper if/when it was indexed in MEDLINE. We attach them to your pubcast so that they can be used as tags. You are also able to add additional tags to your pubcast if you like.

MeSH is an acronym for Medical Subject Headings, the National Library of Medicine's hierarchical controlled vocabulary which is used to index articles in MEDLINE, PubMed, and PubMed Central.
