A channel is set up for each journal, event or conference for institutional customers of SciVee to be their main work space where all content associated with the channel are found. Channel administrators review, edit and publish the nodes created by their authors.

The difference between a channel and a community is that a community is topic-centric and a channel is customer/institution-centric. A video or SciVeeCast in a channel may be relevant to several communities and may be assigned accordingly by the author, for example.
