The embed code cannot be used on YouTube or other video sites because each site has its own proprietary approach for video encoding and metadata. Furthermore, many SciVee videos are longer than 10 minutes, which exceeds the length limit for YouTube. Of course, the video portion of a SciVeeCast can be separately uploaded to YouTube if it fits under the time limit.
