- The Department of Pathology offers full diagnostic services in surgical pathology for in-house LUMC departments, as well as consultation for regional, national, and international referrals. Fields of special interest with a link to research activities include bone and soft-tissue pathology, gynecological pathology, hematopathology, hereditary cancer neuropathology, pulmonary pathology and renal and transplantation pathology. Each section is headed by Department members with advanced training in their respective fields.
