- Kevin Temmer is an independent artist, animator, composer, singer, and songwriter. As a young child, Kevin enjoyed expressing himself through drawing. He began teaching himself animation and it soon became his passion. Kevin also enjoys composing and performing his own original songs.
In 2010, as part of the community outreach in the International Baccalaureate program of his high school, Kevin created a 15 minute animated short to teach students about the science fair. Kevin’s Science Fair animation is currently featured on several websites including NASA, National Geographic Kids, the National Science Foundation Knowledge Network, AOL Kids, Dragonfly TV, and many others. "Prepare for the Science Fair" received an "Excellence in Media Production" and "Judges' Favorite" at the 2011 International Student Media Festival in animation (grades 9-12).
Kevin recently created an animated short and original song that was featured at the World Science Festival in New York City during the “Cool Jobs” presentation.
Kevin has been featured in the St. Petersburg Times, NASA, ZDNet, Fox 13 Tampa Bay, and Patch.
Kevin graduated from the International Baccalaureate program at Land O’ Lakes High School (Land O’ Lakes, Florida) in 2011. Kevin is a member of the National Honor Society and is a recipient of the College Board AP Scholar Award.
Kevin is currently attending Ringling College of Art and Design as a Computer Animation major.
