Ken Ghiggino gives a talk at the ICAM 2007 conference about new synthetic materials that control light energy with electron transfer that mimicks photosynthesis.

The Foundations of Light

submitted by: cloudmichael
The Foundations of Light Photons are often described pictorially as travelling E/B wave pairs. But, they also annihilate into light fermion matter/anti-matter pairs. The travelling E/B wave pair description is an undeniable consequence of Maxwell's equations, and matter/anti-matter pair annihilation is equally irrefutable. So, what is the picture, and what is going on, here ? That light fermions and their interactions have been well described as S sub R matrix instances,...

Magnetic Warp (Pretty Pictures)

Magnetic Warp (Pretty Pictures)This investigation describes and demonstrates a novel technique for the visualization of magnetic fields. Two ferrofluid Hele-Shaw cells have been constructed to facilitate the imaging of magnetic field lines. We deduce that magnetically induced photonic band gap arrays similar to electrostatic liquid crystal operation are responsible for the photographed images and seek to mathematically prove the images are of dipole nature. This is the Pretty Pictures...
