Marcus Cicerone gives a talk at the LC2CAM 08 conference about CARS microscopy, 2 and 3-color CARS, NRB suppression, and signal extraction.

High resolution tomographic imaging of the alveolar region of the mammalian lung

submitted by: habi
The video is an overview of my work in the last 3.75 years at the Institute of Anatomy. It was the talk I gave as my PhD-Defense. My main work was the radiation-optimized increase in the field of view of tomographic imaging stations, thus most of the time of my talk was spent on this.

Operetta™ High Content Screening System

submitted by: SimonVipoir
See how easy High Content Screening is with the PerkinElmer® Operetta™ High Content Screening system. This informative video demonstrates how straight-forward it is to set-up and run an experiment using the Operetta, and analyze your images using the PerkinElmer workflow oriented Harmony™ software.

Small Pixels for Large Samples

submitted by: habi
My talk at the SLS Symposium "Tomography @ TOMCAT" on the 3. November 2009.

Multiparametric analysis of focal adhesion formation by RNAi-mediated gene knockdown

submitted by: JCB
Cell adhesion to the extracellular matrix is mediated by elaborate networks of multiprotein complexes consisting of adhesion receptors, cytoskeletal components, signaling molecules, and diverse adaptor proteins. To explore how specific molecular pathways function in the assembly of focal adhesions (FAs), we performed a high-throughput, high-resolution, microscopy-based screen. We used small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) to target human kinases, phosphatases, and migration- and adhesion-related...
