The Earth has a few natural ways of cleaning carbon out of the atmosphere. One of them is through the death of tiny plankton in the ocean. These plankton die, fall to the bottom of the ocean, make mud, and eventually get squeezed into rock. However, if we produce carbon too fast, the Earth just can't keep up!

The first ever SSPPS Pharmacy Day was held successfully over the weekend. On a beautiful Saturday, over 120 high school students from 14 different high schools throughout San Diego county formed teams and visited our school. In addition to meeting student pharmacists, high school students met professionals in pharmacy (Dr. Colbert, Dr. Morello, Dr. Linda Dean, Dr. Ken Schell, Dr. Chris Woo, and Dr. Sara Lorentz).
