Description: The AOCs are created and defined by the professor of the Senior Sequence. They are stable categories. We only change the AOCs when it comes time to offer a significant new emphasis (for instance the recent addition of a new tribal policy and planning field of study). The AOCs capture a broad range of subject areas relevant to Urban Studies and Planning (e.g., Architecture and Urban Design, Community and Economic Development, Housing, Transportation Planning).

Architecture and Urban Design:
Public and private sector internships in the field of architecture, urban design and historic preservation. Duties may include drafting, model making, facilities planning and design, and research. Opportunities in historic preservation include work with museums as well as community‐based cultural heritage organizations.

This is a group in Senior Sequence Class of 2008-2009.
