Jan 13, 2009 http://www.scivee.tv/node/6213/talks/1765/last Creative Ideas for Modules http://www.scivee.tv/node/6213/talks/1731/last Here are some examples of the simple style that we can use to portray our information: Simple, "cut and push" animation for data visualization: http://dotsub.com/view/f779c51c-8732-4df8-9836-b5b2df3a4fe4 • Re-enactment strategy for storytelling using two students per video (I thought one student could be the energy drink user, another could announce data. Scripts could be written by the English classes): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJMGS7l0wT8 Those two strategies could be merged via green screen or straight voice-over editing to produce something like the JetBlue user experience videos: http://www.jetblue.com/experience/ Dec 15, 2008 http://www.scivee.tv/node/6213/talks/1731/last Re: Powerpoints to the 8 Parts of a "Morgan-Spurlock-type-of-argument" http://www.scivee.tv/node/6213/talks/1576/last hello Dec 4, 2008 http://www.scivee.tv/node/6213/talks/1576/last What is your favorite website and why? http://www.scivee.tv/node/6213/talks/370/last Please let me know what your favorite website is and why? It is important to know what people like before we start our project. We want our presentation to be as attractive as possible. Sep 12, 2008 http://www.scivee.tv/node/6213/talks/370/last Flash Application http://www.scivee.tv/node/6213/talks/136/last In the last 48 hours I have successfully created a flash application integrating buttons, sounds, and functions that quiz users on their ability to understand my 2 year-olds speech. It was a rewarding process involving searches on the internet, trial and error, and the help of Daniel Pearson (CPH Tech Teacher) and my Dad. This will prove useful when studying cardiac auscultation. We can use the application to quiz the students on their ability to observe heart sounds and identify the heart function or disfunction associated with the audio. Jun 26, 2008 http://www.scivee.tv/node/6213/talks/136/last Graphic Novel http://www.scivee.tv/node/6213/talks/122/last I created a graphic novel using still photos from our PM sessions with Dr. Paolini. I downloaded a comic book font from dafont.com. Created the layout and bubbles in illustrator. I doctored the photos in photoshop using pen point and palate knife filters. Simple and effective. Jun 24, 2008 http://www.scivee.tv/node/6213/talks/122/last Videographer Tips http://www.scivee.tv/node/6213/talks/72/last I just wanted to pass this along, because I thought you might be interested in the file formats that work best on SciVee and such: Let me know if you have tips and tricks to add to the help section. I would love to get more resources posted in our help section. http://www.scivee.tv/help/view/41 Also, we actually have a special section for a videographer's listing. I highly encourage it for anyone that is a videographer, because you never know what kind of opportunities you can pick up by offering your services to members on SciVee. You can add your name to the listing at the bottom of the page at: http://www.scivee.tv/service Jun 17, 2008 http://www.scivee.tv/node/6213/talks/72/last Do you have what it takes to make a video? http://www.scivee.tv/node/6213/talks/57/last 80% of the process when making a video is editing. After the filming and acting is over plan on spending four times the amount of time editing your project. The better editor you are and more familier you are with the software the faster you can turn out your project. Jun 18, 2008 http://www.scivee.tv/node/6213/talks/57/last
