Dr. Kuo is a pharmacist health services researcher. Her research focuses on medication safety and pharmacy practice through practice-based research networks. Her funded projects include studying the effects of electronic medical records on medication safety, assessing patients’ health literacy, evaluating medication reconciliation practice and medication error reports, and implementing a national pharmacogenomics education program. She is a co-investigator on SCANNER demonstration projects, as the lead of medication therapy management (MTM) study and co-lead of the medications surveillance CER study.
