Advance Aquatic Sensor Workshop

Aquatic sensor technologies are developing rapidly, yet mechanisms and opportunities for limnologists and field biologists to receive training in these new technologies are limited. The Advanced Aquatic Sensors (AAS) Workshop funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and held at the University of Michigan Biological Station from September 12-13th, 2011 aimed to address critical aspects of the sensor lifecyle, including: - Sensor selection, deployment and maintainance - Data logger configuration - Data telemetry and management - Project team assembly - Demonstrations of the latest aquatic sensor technology
