 <title>Rethinking proteasome evolution: two novel bacterial proteasomes.</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;The proteasome is a multisubunit structure that degrades proteins. Protein degradation is an essential component of regulation because proteins can become misfolded, damaged, or unnecessary. Proteasomes and their homologues vary greatly in complexity: from HslV (heat shock locus v), which is encoded by 1 gene in bacteria, to the eukaryotic 20S proteasome, which is encoded by more than 14 genes. Despite this variation in complexity, all the proteasomes are composed of homologous subunits.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Harmonic Cloud Patterns on Jupiter</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Regularly spaced clouds appear in Jupiter&#039;s belts, sometimes white spots and sometimes swirling waves. A polar projection of Jupiter, made by NASA from the 2000 flyby, allows accurate testing of the hypothesis that these waves form as predicted by the Harmonics Theory. It is found that expected strong harmonics 12, 24 and 72 are present.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>LOCATE: a mouse protein subcellular localization database</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;We present here LOCATE, a curated, web-accessible database that houses data describing the membrane organization and subcellular localization of proteins from the FANTOM3 Isoform Protein Sequence set. Membrane organization is predicted by the high-throughput, computational pipeline MemO. The subcellular locations of selected proteins from this set were determined by a high-throughput, immunofluorescence-based assay and by manually reviewing &amp;gt;1700 peer-reviewed publications.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Order in Spontaneous Behavior</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Brains are usually described as input/output systems: they transform sensory input into motor output. However, the motor output of brains (behavior) is notoriously variable, even under identical sensory conditions. The question of whether this behavioral variability merely reflects residual deviations due to extrinsic random noise in such otherwise deterministic systems or an intrinsic, adaptive indeterminacy trait is central for the basic understanding of brain function.&lt;/p&gt;
