Conrad, a scientist at the University of Calgary, travels from Calgary to Vancouver to see his identical twin brother Hal. Hal is an alcoholic and has been admitted to the hospital with a failing liver. As Conrad and his cameraman drive through the Rockies, Conrad discusses with the cameraman the basics of epigenetics and how accumulated epigenetic changes can lead to differences between identical twins. The film aims to investigate the concept of “nature versus nurture” as described by the rules of epigenetics.
