SciVee PubCasts Enliven Journal Content and Drive Higher Online Views

San Diego, CA—SciVee, the leading rich media platform solutions provider to the scientific, technical and medical market, announced today that The American Society for Nutrition has signed a subscription agreement to deploy SciVee for ASN’s two journals, The Journal of Nutrition, and The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. This agreement follows a successful trial which demonstrated that SciVee solutions make scientific and scholarly content much more engaging and thereby drive higher online traffic and reader interest.

ASN is using SciVee primarily to produce a PubCast, which is a synchronized video abstract that enables a reader to see the author discuss highlighted sections of a journal article in a full multimedia presentation online. It provides a much more dynamic way to absorb and retain knowledge than a text-only abstract. It promotes greater interest in the author’s work and increases its impact through broad distribution on the Internet.
