In this research, I wanted to determine the effectiveness in the structure of nonprofit organizations, more specifically the National Council of La Raza and the Chicano Federation of San Diego County, in minimizing the housing gap prevalent among the fast growing low-income Latino population and its white counterpart. Thus far, the NCLR and CFSD have managed to gain recognition for their services and exposed their name to serve thousands of Latinos as well as other underrepresented populations across the United States.
