Identifying Environmental Injustice through Topics of Tribal Sovereignty and Land Use Politics

Key findings:  The socioeconomic characteristics do factor into the choice of industry a tribal nation can possibly invite or accept on or near their land. There are two types of environmental injustice when dealing with Native American sovereignty over land use and politics. The Pala and Campo cases are examples of each one. Identifying an environmental injustice is complex and not always a distributional issue.
