Description: The Academia Engelberg Foundation was created on 27 September 01 and is domiciled in the Monastery Engelberg in Switzerland.
Academia Engelberg wants to build bridges in order to make an important contribution to the sustainable dialogue on basic values of society in scientific, technological, ecological and societal processes of change that are related with them.
Academia Engelberg activities are interdisciplinary and bring together participants from different nations, cultures and religions.
Special emphasis is placed on the contact between generations (intergenerational platform) and genders. Top representatives from science meet current and future leaders from politics, economy, culture and society (international and intercultural platform) with the aim of sharing their ideas, deepening their mutual understanding and developing claims and projects.
