On a recent Tuesday morning, the sound of a piano soared in the Conrad Prebys Music Center, rising along the venue’s triangular, wood-paneled walls and ceiling. Graduate student William Fried was performing "Feux d'Artifice" by French master Claude Debussy. He was one of a handful of students who got to test-drive the acoustically advanced concert hall in March before its public opening in May.
